We Did It
Well we did it ....or should I say I DID IT...I pottytrained DS....it took less than a month and it is going great ....now I just have to get him comfortable in underwear .....I also have to wean him off getting presents everytime he goes ......He also is starting Pre School on Tuesday and I am so ready ......he is going to go to school ..socialize and maybe learn a few things while he is there .... I on the other hand ...GET SOME FREE TIME ...TWICE A WEEK......I can't wait......
The Joy of Potty Training
Okay so I knew that it wasn't going to be easy ...but boy this is frustrating ...it is the middle of week three of potty training DS ...he starts Pre school on August 31st so I would like to have him at least semi trained by that time ....he goes when I tell him to go to the potty but he refuses to tell me when he has to go ....no thats wrong ...he tells me he has to go when he wakes up but after that it is just guesswork on my part ......and let me just say ...HE IS GOING TO PRESCHOOL IF IT KILLS ME .......and of course going poop in the potty is just out of the question ,.....
Why
The new word in my house is WHY ......my 3 year old has stopped saying NO and is now asking Why? at least a hundred times a day ....and guess what ..half the time I DON'T know the answer...beacause there is no answer. If I hadn't already gone grey I swear I would be now ....now I must be content with pulling it out ......
What was I thinking
Okay so I thought that quitting my work at home job was a good idea ....but it is only day one and I am about to go crazy with nothing to do (well there is housework to be done but who really wants to do that right ) my DS is intent on driving me crazy and can't just ask for help no he has to SCREAM AT THE TOP OF HIS LUNGS for help.....oh well anyway I have a list of to do's now that I am no longer working .... 1. potty train DS before preschool starts 2. Finish ALL those books I've bought and never started 3. Learn how to crochet ( I did buy the kit so I might as well give it a try ) 4. Finish all my needlepoint projects that I've started but never finished 5. Get organized ....
